Save Room for Dessert at Rooh Bistro
Next time you find yourself craving Indian flavors, consider heading over to Rooh Bistro. This newly opened restaurant offers all the dishes you’d expect from an Indian restaurant, as well as a few less-common options. You’ll find plenty of vindaloo and korma curries, for example, but the kitchen also prepares the less common (in US-based restaurants, anyway) kadai-style curry, in which your choice of protein (chicken, lamb, etc.) is quickly cooked over high heat in an Indian-style wok, and combined with onions, tomatoes, ginger, and a masala spice mix. Other signature dishes at Rooh Bistro include a Mumbai-style fish curry, slow-braised nalli gosht (lamb shank), and chicken begum bahar.
Not sure what to choose? Visit during the lunch hour, when Rooh Bistro offers an all you can eat buffet, and you can taste a little bit of everything. Yelp reviewers say you should be sure to leave a bit of room for dessert, as this place offers several tasty options.
