Get your green outfit ready—it’s almost time for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade! For the 20th year in a row, the Gaithersburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been taking over the streets in celebration of Irish culture for this beloved holiday. This year the parade will take place on Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m., so you can start your St. Paddy’s Day festivities a little early. If you’re a spectator you can expect to see tons of community groups donning their best St. Paddy’s Day attire, traditional dancers and bands, even horses and clowns make some appearances—you’ll surely be entertained. The event runs from Rio Boulevard and Grand Corner Avenue, so start there to scope out the perfect spot along the route.
