Stock Up on Seasonal Produce at Farmers’ Markets in Gaithersburg
This time of year, you have a couple of different options if you want to do your grocery shopping at local Gaithersburg farmers’ markets. The seasonal Fulks Corner Farmers’ Market is still open for business until mid-November, held along Fulks Corner Avenue every Thursday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. And the year-round Main Street Farmers’ & Artists’ Market, of course, remains open for business every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Since the autumn temperatures haven’t officially arrived yet, you’ll still find a pretty large variety of vendors at both farmers’ markets. The Main Street Market always offers an array of fresh fruits and veggies from local farmers, as well as handmade pieces from the area’s artisans, hot food, fresh flowers, and plants. Meanwhile, the Fulks Corner Market boasts a wide variety of everything from produce to baked goods to beef, eggs, and even specialty herbs and spice blends.
