Saving Animals is a Fun Walk in the Park!
Do you love dogs? Channel your passion for pooches, and enjoy a walk with your favorite four-legged friend during the 19th Annual Paws in the Park dog walk and festival on Sunday, April 23, from noon to 4 p.m.
One of the biggest dog-themed events in the Washington, D.C., area, Paws in the Park is hosted by the Montgomery County Humane Society and the City of Gaithersburg. But the walk is more than just a day in the park – it also raises money to help homeless and abandoned animals throughout Montgomery County. This year’s event will take place at Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm, 506 South Fredrick Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland, next to Gaithersburg High School.
Striking a balance between charitable advocacy and lovable canine cuteness, Paws in the Park features a one-mile dog walk; pet contests and games; demonstrations; children’s activities; and a pet-oriented market featuring more than 50 vendors, food, and music.
See you at the park!
