Meet the Staff: Morgan Smith

What is your full name?

Morgan Erin Smith.

How long have you worked at Bozzuto?

Going on a year and a half.

What is your job? What do you enjoy most about it?

I am a Sales and Service Associate at Cadence at Crown. The thing I enjoy most about my job is meeting new people and establishing long-lasting relationships with our residents.

What makes Cadence such a great place to live? What sets it apart from other residential communities?

Our community is exactly that, a community! We genuinely care about the well-being of everyone who enters our front doors, whether they are residents, delivery people, prospects, employees, local retailers, or friends and family of our residents. I think the hospitality we offer from the moment you step foot at Cadence is what really sets us apart from other residential communities. We are always taking suggestions, listening to what our residents like, and strive every day to meet the needs of our residents.

Why do residents love living here?

I think part of what I answered in question four covers this as well. Although, I think the convenience of our location is a big plus as well. We are within walking distance of a 24-hour grocery store, coffee shop, banks, eye doctors, and the Rio Shopping Center. We are also only 1.5 miles from the Shady Grove Metro and less than a mile away from all major highways.

What are some can’t-miss local activities and places to visit around Cadence?

The Washingtonian Center, also called The Rio, is a big attraction for either a girl’s day to go shopping or a night out with your significant other. I also LOVE Thursday’s Prime Rib night at Harris Teeter.

What are your hobbies?

I love playing basketball when I have the time, going on hikes, and spending time with my fiancé and family!

If you could pick one word to describe you, what would it be?

Outgoing/bubbly. I love just about anything that makes me smile and laugh. You very rarely can catch me in a bad mood.

What is your favorite amenity and why?

This is tough because I love all of our amenities, but if I had to choose one it would be our Pool Courtyard. I think it is very upbeat and attracts just about anyone who wants to have fun! You can swim, grill out, listen to music, or read a book. Just being by the fountain and hearing the fun going on puts me in a good mood!

If you could have dinner with anyone (dead, alive, famous, etc.), who would it be?

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be Mark Wahlberg! I might have to ask him to go to the movies afterward, too!
